We don't deserve to be raped.

Okay, I know that based on the title of my post everybody (or most of you) will say: "Yeah that's such a dumb title, this is so obvious!" or "No one deserve to be raped..." but wait, seems like is not everybody who agree with this statement. I'm going to show why I said that, but before, a little bit of background about feminism and why it's important.
Feminism is changing in all the ways how the woman was / is seen in society, and this is nothing new. The political, social and philosophical wave named feminism until today struggle for equal rights between men and women.
The history of the feminist movement was divided into three "waves." The first wave refers mainly to women's suffrage movements of the nineteenth and early twentieth mainly concerned with women's right to vote and to social and political representation. The second wave refers to the ideas and actions associated with the women's liberation movement started in the 1960s, fighting for legal and social equality for women. The third wave was a continuation of that struggle and a reaction to the failures of the second wave, which began in the 1990s.
Feminism has been fighting to protect the rights of women for years, and yet, we are discriminated and judged when we expose ourselves. We have the right to have pleasure by ourselves without been judge as a "slut", or to wear a short clothes and don't be raped.

In April 2014, a renowned Brazilian research institute released a survey in which 65.1% of almost 4000 interviewees answered that women showing their bodies "deserve to be raped." Other 58.5% of the interviewees agreed with the statement "If women knew how to behave, there would be less rape."
A campaign was started on Facebook, and search results gained worldwide repercussion, and support of many famous people, engaged and even the president of Brazil manifested herself in support of the cause. However the reaction of the people on Facebook showed something even worse, those reactions showed that the results of the research were true, and worse, pages of humor began to joke with the subject, sexist groups began using pictures of women in support of rape campaigns. The organizers of the campaign were threatened and had their profiles on the social network invaded and their right to privacy denied. There is the point that I want to come out with, the culture of rape.
We live in a rape culture that blames the victim. It is part of rape culture say that is feminist paranoia the violent and sexist reality that we women are exposed every day. Rape culture is to laugh at jokes like: "Man rapes ugly woman does not deserve jail, but a hug." Rape culture is to condone the actions of stalkers, keeping the perverse hobby of sexually harassing women in crowded public transport and exchange tips about it on Facebook. Rape culture is selling T-shirts that say "Formula of Love" is drunk women to get sex without resistance. Culture of rape are condom ads that claim that sex without consent burns more calories or beer commercials with sung and passed from hand to nearly naked female bodies.
The rape culture has been trivialized by the media. Attackers often get away with their crimes, and when something happens to them, the world closes again and ignore what is happening. Rape crimes happen all the time, everywhere, and are almost never reported by the victim. Most of the time the victim actually believes they are guilty, feel dirty and immoral to question what is happening, fear, feel threatened but blushing, it has to end, rape is never the victim's fault.
